About us

The School of Social Work, formerly known as the Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit Zürich HSSAZ, offers graduate, post-graduate and continuing education courses in the field of social work, maintains a research department and shares its know-how by counselling other organisations.

Graduate, post-graduate and continuing education courses

We offer a general, practice-focused Bachelor degree in social work as well as a number of continuing education courses in this field. From 2008 we also offer a Master in Social Work.

Our applied research focuses on formulating solutions for the teaching and practicing of social work:

Our cooperation partners include public services, non-profit organisations and teaching and research institutions in Switzerland and abroad.

Services

By providing counselling services and process support, lecturers and researchers pass on their know-how and skills to the public services, authorities and organisations in the social, health, education and legal sectors.
